Nairobi Water Company customers can now check their account balances and meter readings via SMS.
Simply create a new message from your mobile phone, type in your account number/ meter account number and send it to 5571.
You will get a reply with details of your water bill/ meter reading showing the account status
This is a premium service, sms charge is ksh 10 above normal rates.
