The Company in conjunction with the County Government of Nairobi recently celebrated Good Deeds day.
The Company showcased tools and equipment used to curb Non-Revenue Water, demonstrate strategies used to fight illegal connections as well channels of lodging water and sewer complaints.
Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko who also doubles up as the Good Deeds ambassador his administration will endeavor to give the best services to Nairobi residents as good gesture in celebration of the annual event.
He added that the County and the Company will collaborate to offer water and sewerage services even in the face of the dry season that has caused water shortage.
“We know the dry spell is here with us. I call upon Nairobi water to evenly distribute water to the residents of Nairobi and make public the water rationing schedule in place.” He said.
Good Deeds Day is an annual tradition of volunteering and positively changing the lives of the less fortunate in society. All over the world, hundreds of thousands choose to volunteer and help others, putting into practice the simple idea that every single person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively change the world.
Last December, an Israeli delegation, led by Good Deeds Global Chief Executive officer Kaynan Rabino, named Sonko their Good Deeds Ambassador for a three-year period for his generosity in helping the needy.
