NCWSC CRACKS DOWN ON ILLEGAL WATER CONNECTION

The Company in collaboration with Nairobi Metropolitan Services recently undertook an operation to disconnect illegal connections on the DN 450 Langatta in Kibra’s Forest area.

The exercise was aimed at improving supply to Langata area and reduce Non-Revenue Water. The disconnection exercise was jointly carried by Informal Settlement Region (ISR), Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Security teams. The crackdown will ensure water is availed to deserving customers in line with President Uhuru Kenyatta directive not to disconnect water during the coronavirus pandemic receives water supply especially during this Covid-19 pandemic period.

Staff dismantles illegal water connections at the main supply line .Over 40 illegal connections were uprooted.
