The Headquarters lnter-denominational Fellowship recently held a last special thanks-giving service for this year. The service was conducted in strict adherence of the Covid-19 protocols. The event also provided a platform to take stock of the highs and lows since the onset of the pandemic. The traditional monthly prayer services were suspended early in the year at the onset of the infections and spread of the pandemic in the Country. Congregants gave thanksgiving offering (dry food stuffs and clothes) to be shared with the less fortunate even as the Company thank God for His faithfulness, sustenance and protection for the year2020.
Acting Technical Director Eng. Lucy Njambi said Covid-19 pandemic placed the Company in the middle of the response. “We have been able to dig and equip more than 145 boreholes in the informal settlement and install over 300 hand-washing points across the city in collaboration with the stakeholders.” She said. Acting Director for Human Resources and Administration Services Monica Tuli thanked the staff for their services that has sustained the Company operations.
“I wish to thank everyone for your efforts. We have been able to sustain service delivery even in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. I urge you all to continue adhering to the Covid-19 protocols. Do not drop the guard yet even as the festive season kicks in.” She reiterated.
